Yew Tree House, Tattenhall, Cheshire
Two early 1800s cottages combined into a house for six people in a lovely village.

Yew Tree House is situated on a quiet lane and whilst being only 100 metres from the centre of Tattenhall Village lies only 50 metres from the open countryside. Originally two separate cottages it dates back to the early 1800s and many of the original features have been retained including oak beamed ceilings throughout. Our lovely house has two reception rooms, a kitchen, utility and a dining room on the ground floor. Upstairs there are three good sized bedrooms and a family bathroom. Apart from the small garden and drive at the front of the property, the cottage also enjoys a large Southerly facing rear garden with plenty of room for the children to play or to enjoy a barbecue. Our cottage is also equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, fridge, freezer and large range
cooker. Both living rooms enjoy a large plasma or widescreen TV and DVD with Satellite TV (inc films and sports channels). 2 of the bedroom also have satellite TV. There are a number CD players throughout the cottage.

Hi, we are Andy and Tracy, we have twins, Hannah and Ewan who are both eight years old in February. We also have a Border Terrier called Ruby. Andy, Tracy, Ewan, Hannah and RubyBoth children attend school in the village and we feel lucky to have many friends here, having lived in the Village for around three years. We love our village, its real sense of community and its great location for both enjoying this lovely part of Cheshire and great access to the Coast, the
Mountains and the City. The views below are of the church and of Tattenhall Old Hall.
Tattenhall

Tattenhall is a pretty Cheshire Village with excellent local facilities. These include, 3 good restaurants, 3 pubs, a butchers, a cafe, a post office, a small supermarket and a gift shop. There is also a large public park in the centre of the village with chilgren`s play area  and a Sports Centre with facilities for tennis, squash, cricket and a fitness gym. There are many walks which can be accessed from your doorstep around the Village, or for the more adventurous Tattenhall lies close to the Sandstone Trail which takes in some of the most beautiful views that Cheshire has to offer.

You can visit Beeston Castle, Cholmondley Castle and Cheshire rows. There is a racecourse. Despite some excellent restaurants in the village - our favourite is Mitchell's below - we feel very lucky to have great options when eating out in neighbouring villages. These include the Pheasant Inn which enjoys stunning views over the Cheshire Plains.
