Intervac GB
Intervac GB is the British arm of Intervac International, the first home exchange agency that started in 1953.
Organizer network
We are a network of Organisers in thirty countries with agents in a further twenty that maintain our ideals of personal service.
Our origins
Starting in Sweden and Britain as a home swap club for teachers, Intervac "International vacation") rapidly spread all over Europe and North America.
Our membership
Today Intervac's worldwide membership comprises every profession although about thirty percent of our members are still teachers. We have many members that have been with us for a long time and many second generation members.
Our organization
Intervac is now a world-wide organisation, managed by a not for profiut Organization whose Board of Directors is chosen by the Organisers.
Our coverage
We have the broadest world wide spread of house swap offers and we are the only home exchange agency to have an even balance of homes between Europe and North America.
Our personal service
We pride ourselves on our superior personal service in each country. on the friendships our members have made amongst themselves and the number of second generation members that we have. Intervac's Organizers are specially able to be attentive to the needs and culture of their national membership.
Our new facilities
Intervac has recently rebuilt our central website and we now provide the best range of online services in the home exchange industry including comprehensive search facilities, an online messaging system that is integrated with our members' email systems, easy to use presentation and advertising facilities and many other unique advantages.
